Got a call from someone with a British name but speaking with a strong Far Eastern accent, claiming to be from Windows computer support. When I asked if he was from Microsoft's Los Angeles office, he said yes. I told him he was lucky, then he abruptly hung up after mentioning the name of my town.

They spoke to me with an Indian accent and I managed to keep the convo going for about 10 minutes. Eventually, they hung up, but strangely enough, they called straight back on the same number right away.

Got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent, reckoned my computer was infected with a virus. Couldn't tell if it was genuine or just some dodgy scam.

So this lady with an Indian accent called me, saying there was some problem with my Windows PC. I told her I actually use a Mac, and she just ended the call straight away. The weird part is, she already knew my name.

I reckon they were just calling from a contact list since my surname matched my number. Some Asian lady said she was from Microsoft’s Windows tech support. When I questioned her about her location, she gave the address as 100 Victoria St SE1 5JL, which is actually Microsoft UK’s office. I couldn’t help but laugh a bit, and she didn’t like that one bit. She accused me of mocking her and then abruptly ended the call!

This number just rang me up claiming there was an issue with my Windows PC. As soon as I told them I don’t even own a Windows computer, they just ended the call straight away.

Been getting calls from the same person over and over, just tweaks one or two numbers each time to ring me again. The lady sounds Indian, with really bad English, and says she's from Microsoft, warning me about a virus on my computer. I tried telling her she's got no clue and can't be from Microsoft, but it didn’t stop her. At least it gave me a little laugh though.

I got a call from someone named Mary Adams, but you could tell right away she was a scammer coz of her thick Indian accent.

Some guy with an Indian accent called saying he was from Microsoft support, telling me I’d got virus or something on my laptop. He asked me to turn it on so he could fix it but I told him I was busy and then he just hung up straight away. Sounds like a proper scam to me.

got a call from her like 8 times just yesterday, told her to stop ringing but guess what? she’s gone and called me again today. next time she calls, i won’t be so nice about it.
