This number never answers when I try to call back to see who was ringing or why. Turns out they aren’t even based in the UK. They conned me out of my life savings, and I’m now 67, but still have to work because of it. They took £14,000 that I’d been putting aside to retire and finally take a holiday after 23 years. Just be careful who you trust on the phone - otherwise you might end up stuck in a job like cleaning forever, like me. Never agree to anything over the phone, meet in person instead, and always inform your bank if you need to withdraw big sums!

Received a rather dubious call from this number earlier; the chap claimed to be affiliated with the National Lottery, announcing I’d bagged myself ten complimentary lucky dips. I informed him that the only way I engage with the lottery is through authorised retailers and that I'm not one for accepting unsolicited offers. To that, he responded rather rudely and hung up, wishing me a good evening in a decidedly sarcastic tone. It’s surely a scam! I can only gather that this individual, or their cohort, are fishing for personal details like names, addresses, or card info. Best advice for everyone: steer clear of such nonsense and block the number as I’ve already done!
