Today I got a call from this number on my mobile. As soon as I picked up, the call just ended! It had a local area code, so I called back. A young lady answered and said it was from the "local hospice" and that they were returning my call? I told her firmly to take me off their list and never ring me again. These random cold calls are really annoying and disrespectful.

It's pretty alarming they have my full name, address and postcode. I told the woman I was going to report her to the police, and she just cut me off straight away. Surely there needs to be stricter action against these calls, especially since they can really target people who are vulnerable.
