This afternoon, I received a call on my landline from a chap in Liverpool, pretending to be from HMRC, claiming I was involved in some dubious activities! He seemed utterly taken aback when I flipped the script on him! Quite the turn of events for the poor scammer! Got a call from 0151 635 7982 on 10th of September. It was one of those annoying recorded messages about HMRC and supposed tax fraud under my name, threatening arrest if I didn’t press 1. I pressed 1 out of curiosity and was met with a calm Chopin tune for a while. Got fed up with the whole thing and just ended the call. Best block it like I did.

Total spam and dodgy behaviour! This number has rung me a bunch over the past few days. I picked up today out of sheer boredom and curiosity. They claimed I’d “recently contacted my insurance about a crash and some damage to my car”. They even used my name. But I’ve had no accidents and never chatted with my insurer, plus my car’s perfectly fine. Told them to delete my info and then blocked the number.

I had a chat with a guy called James about my accident, and honestly he was super helpful and really polite. He sorted things out pretty quickly too. If it wasn’t for this firm, I wouldn’t have been aware of what I was entitled to. Just got all my documents through now. If anyone’s been in an accident, I’d definitely recommend giving these guys a try. Proper pleased with how they handled everything!

I got a call from this number on 9th April 2019, with someone claiming it was about an accident I supposedly had. I told them straight up they were scammers, and that I don’t even have a driving licence, not even a provisional one, so there’s no way I was involved in any accident. I also warned them to take my phone number off their list or I’d report them to the Police. Unsurprisingly, they just ended the call!
