The person on the other end claimed that I was entitled to compensation due to a car incident I had back in November 2019. They were exceedingly personable and seemed to know an unsettling amount of specifics regarding the event-where it transpired, who else was involved, the vehicles in question, the whole nine yards. To my surprise, shortly after, at 18:02, I received another call from someone who stated they were from a "different department" that handled additional matters, like advice on what to communicate with the other party's insurance representatives. They also mentioned that I could be looking at a compensation amount of £2115.00. They assured me that their service operated on a no win, no fee basis, meaning I wouldn’t incur any charges if things didn’t go my way, while a maximum fee of 25% would apply if I was successful, as per legal guidelines. I note that they attempted to contact me once more at 18:02, but I wasn’t able to answer. I did try to ring them back on two occasions, yet my calls were met with resistance and were not accepted. Thus far, they have not attempted to reach me again. Should I receive any further communication, I shall keep you posted.
