Someone was ranting about my car crash, I told them I don’t even drive and have agoraphobia so I barely leave the house, so no way I was in any accident. ‭0151 808 0792‬ Got a call from a woman saying I’d been in an accident. I told her straight up it was a scam. She got all defensive and said don’t be rude, she was only doing her job. Definitely a con - I haven’t had an accident and she already had my name on my mobile!

Got a ring from this number, didn’t pick up and they didn’t leave any voicemail. So I just blocked it.

They claimed they had my info from the Motor Insurance Bureau. I told them to delete my details from their system and said it was a data breach, warning them any more calls would be reported to the ICO. He said it wasn’t a breach, so I called it a scam and then called it fraud. Kept saying “fraud” and then he just hung up! I’ve gone ahead and reported it to the ICO.

Got a call on my mobile from these lot, they had my birthdate, car reg, home address and even details of a crash from a few years ago, saying I’m due £2,200 compensation - total SCAM. Some lady with a Liverpool accent called and asked if I was satisfied with how they'd handled the damage to my car. When I started asking questions, they just ended the call. They actually asked for me by my name too.

A lass with a thick Scouse accent called me, said she was from the AA about damage to my car from a recent smash. I told her I hadn’t been in any accident and called her bluff. She just replied, "right, I’m hangin’ up now," then ended the call.

I told her I wasn’t impressed with being called that, and her giggling wasn’t very professional. Told her to call back when she’s taken a breath and grown up. Definitely blocking the number now, as it’s clear they’re cold calling. Might even have some fun and try wasting their time a bit.

I picked up and kinda guessed it was dodgy, so I went like, "how ya doin love?" with a Scottish tone. Then she asked if my name was hers, I said yeah. She then asked if I’d been in a car crash but I’m only 12 so I caught on quick. I asked if she was alright and just as I said it, she ended the call.
