Couldn’t quite make out her name, maybe AAT or something similar? It was a bothersome call regarding a potential claim for a car accident. The woman spoke nicely when I said it wasn’t relevant to me and asked her to take my details off their database (how on earth did they get my name when I’m using my daughter’s mobile?). She ended the chat with ‘enjoy your weekend’ 😄

Got a call from this number saying they were from my internet company. But when I asked who my provider actually was, the bloke just ended the call.

They've rung me so many times I lost count. Finally picked up, not knowing the number or expecting anyone strange to call. A lady answered, real polite but kept calling me "dear" a few times, said they were from the "AAC" but said it so fast it sounded like "AA." I asked her to say the company again and told her I had no idea who they were. Then she got really cheeky and told me not to be rude. Bit rich, innit?

Got a call claiming to be from AA, saying they're following up on a car accident I'd reported. Thing is, the only ones who should have my details are my insurer and the repair garage. So it feels like one of them must be passing our phone numbers onto these so-called “assistants” for some kinda kickback.

Totally fed up with these annoying calls nonstop. They just want to grab as much of your private info as they can. If the number looks dodgy or u dont know it, best not pick up or call back, could end up costing a fortune. Anyone real trying to reach u will leave a voicemail anyway. You can always just look up the number online to check who’s calling.

Got a call from someone in Liverpool, they were asking about a minor car crash I supposedly had. I told 'em I hadn't been in one.
