Got a call from a scammer again, so I just went ahead and blocked the number.

0151 808 0514 - I usually don’t pick up calls from numbers not saved in my contacts. Legitimate callers would just drop a text if it's something important, right? My phone flagged this one as possible spam, so I just went ahead and blocked it. Honestly, if more folks did this, these annoying scammers wouldn’t get a leg up!

I got a call from someone saying they were from PC World or Curry’s, chatting about some contest I’d supposedly taken part in or won. I couldn’t quite make out what he was saying because his accent was pretty thick.

Some bloke rang saying he was from O2, and when I told him I wasn’t interested, he got really annoyed. I ended up hanging up, but he just wouldn’t stop ringing back.

Got a call out of the blue from some telemarketer, no clue how they managed to get hold of my number. The bloke on the line had a pretty thick accent, and I couldn’t make out what he was saying, so I just ended the call.

It’s really unsettling that they already have my name, address and postcode. I told the caller I was going to report them to the police this time and she just ended the call. Something needs to be done to stop these calls, especially to protect those who are more vulnerable.
