I recently encountered an Indian fella who introduced himself as representing "Consumer Watch." He seemed a bit off, as he didn't even use my actual name! He went on about energy deals and ways to save on bills. Quite peculiar, if you ask me.

Got a call from a number I didn’t recognise, no message left or anything. No clue who it was!

Got a call from some bloke with an Indian accent, claiming to be from Consumer Watch. He kept calling me by the wrong name and then asked which energy deal I'm on, offering to save me hundreds of quid. This is the fifth time today I've been called from different numbers, all about energy stuff, and every one of them used the same wrong name! Quite annoying.

I had no clue who was calling, so I just let it ring out. Honestly, I figure if it's really important, they’ll leave a voicemail. For the past few weeks, I've been getting loads of calls from random numbers. A lot of them sound like energy firms with those annoying automated recordings. Pretty much all spam, from what I can tell.
