Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent who wanted my postcode and DOB, said it was for some data protection thing linked to PPI claims I'd supposedly made. Sounded a bit dodgy to me.

Got a call on my mobile from some scammer talking about an accident claim. I told them straight up it wasn’t true and they wouldn’t believe me. It was a woman with a foreign accent who insisted the claim was from 16th March. There’s no accident or anything like that. She just kept going on and on, so I told her to quit wasting my time and blocked the number. The number came from a UK company called Numbergroup Utilities, who seem to provide numbers to dodgy companies overseas. Loads of people have complained about them, they really ought to be taken to court.

Got a call from someone sounding Indian, saying they were from a legal company regarding a PPI claim involving a few banks. They ring me up roughly every week saying they’re from O2. The caller tells me it’s a free call from O2 and if I want to stop getting these calls, I need to dial 901, then press * followed by 5 and then 5 again. Of course, I haven’t bothered with that because it seems dodgy to me.
