Got a call from a lady with a Chinese-sounding accent, went by Summer. Had a good chuckle with her. She kept asking if it was me and said my name loads. I asked why she was ringing without confirming it was me first. Asked what the call was about. Then she just hung up. Blocked her straight away. Honestly, everyone should give the t####er app a go. It shows you who’s calling, and if it’s marked as spam by others, the number pops up in a big red box saying spam! You can check the number and even search online, it takes you here. Really handy little app ??

I received a call from someone who seemed quite keen to discuss a recent accident. I thought I’d have a bit of fun and waste his time. He probed me about whether I was wearing a seatbelt, claiming he could help me snag some compensation if I was. However, it was evident he was fishing for information, having no clue about my car, any potential claims, or who my insurer might be. It reeked of a classic cold call. In the end, his frustration was palpable, and he abruptly ended the call!

Now, if he’s being honest (which is a bit of a stretch), he was going on about some accident I absolutely didn't have, and it was to a phone number that's registered with the Telephone Preference Service! The bloke was incredibly pushy, quite rude really, and had a knack for completely ignoring anything I said. It felt like I was being spoken over rather than having a proper conversation. Honestly, this kind of behaviour should be outlawed!
