2 yearsGot a call from a recorded voice claiming it was my bank - but never mentioned the bank’s actual name - saying there were a couple of suspicious charges on my account and to press one if I wanted to cancel them. Then, an operator with a strong Indian or Pakistani accent came on and asked for my full name and other details. I didn’t give anything away. I asked who they were and where they were calling from, and they just hung up. No genuine bank would handle things this way or be so vague about who they are. Don’t get tricked into giving info.
