Got a call from a number that looked like it was from my bank, but they don’t even have branches with that area code. They said there’d been two dodgy transactions on my account, one going abroad. The woman’s voice sounded exactly like the old speaking clock lady - really convincing. I chose to play it safe and ended the call without pressing any buttons. When I tried to ring back, the line was dead - just a tone like the number didn’t exist.
