He inquired about my SSE energy bills, even using my full name and mentioning my address. Naturally, I was taken aback and questioned how he acquired my personal details, especially since I’m not a customer of theirs. He then started to ramble on about rising costs, but I reiterated my concerns. Instead of addressing my query, he shifted gears, asking who my current energy provider was, and then casually suggested it might be Shell. It was quite clear he was evading my original question entirely, and then he abruptly hung up.
