I saw a missed call so I decided to call back. When I answered, some foreign guy said he was Marcus and claimed he wanted to talk about my SSE energy bills, even using my full name and address. I asked him straight up where he got my details from, as I’m not even with SSE. He then tried to talk about prices rising, but I kept telling him I wasn’t with them. Eventually, he guessed if my supplier was Shell, ignoring my questions the whole time. Then, without saying goodbye, he just hung up on me.

It really worries me that they have access to our names, phone numbers, and where we live. I’m not comfortable with this at all.

I got a really loud screeching sound when this number 0151 601 2392 called me! Utterly annoying!

I put my car up for sale on Gumtree and suddenly my phone wouldn’t stop ringing with people asking if it had been in an accident, which it hadn’t. I’m actually signed up with the TPS too, so not sure how they got my number!

kept ringing me loads of times back to back even after i told them i wasn’t into it. when i brought up the telephone preference service, he just scoffed and asked why that would stop him. also name dropped tripadvisor for no reason.

I got a call from someone called Martin who was quite rude and acted all high and mighty. He kept demanding I explain what I knew about tax, and threatened to send me to the MD if I didn't. Really off-putting behaviour.

I answered the phone but no one said a word. Kinda felt like they weren’t ready for me to pick up, maybe didn’t want to talk to a bloke. Going to block the number now.
