Got a voicemail from someone saying they're HMRC with some urgent problem that needs my solicitor to act quick. I didn’t hang around to hear the full message though.

Judging by what others are saying, this definitely sounds like a con job. I never pick up unless the number's familiar. It’s just pure annoyance and harassment. Really wish these idiots would be sorted out.

I got a call at my house from someone claiming to be an energy advisor. Thought I was on the TPS to avoid these calls but apparently not. Ended up just blocking the number.

Today, on the 11th March 2022, my landline got a call from 0151 601 2342 at about 12:27. I usually don't answer numbers I don’t recognise, so I just let it ring out. They didn’t leave any voicemail either, which makes me think this call was probably dodgy!

It gives a ring but then cuts off before you have a chance to pick up. Best not to put any faith in this number-it's rather bothersome, to say the least!
