Been getting loads of calls recently from numbers I don't know so I just ignore them on my mobile. On the landline, I just let the answerphone pick up now 'cos I’m fed up with it. Lots seem to be those PPI claim ones, some have no caller ID so maybe from abroad, and sometimes there’s just weird crackling noises!

Got a call from some finance firm saying I’d overpaid on a loan and they could sort a refund. When I asked which loan they were talking about, they wouldn’t tell me unless I gave them my details first. I refused and asked where they’d got my number from, but they kept quiet. I told them not to ring me again and ended the call. They've been blocked on my phone now.
