Somebody rang saying they were from EE and wanted my info that EE should already have. They tried to get me to switch over directly with them, promising to sort out my current contract payments, but when I asked, they wouldn’t even say what company they were working for. Felt a bit dodgy to me.

Got a call from someone claiming to be BT saying our phone line rental was increasing. Told them we aren’t tied in with BT right now and plan to switch providers later in the year. We get loads of calls from firms trying to sell us deals, so I assumed this was just another attempt to pitch a quote. Asked them to send an email but nothing’s come through yet - fingers crossed they’re not misusing our email. The bloke had a southern UK accent, maybe from London.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with BT, saying our line rental charges were increasing. I told them we aint got a contract with BT currently and were planning to switch providers later on. We get calls all the time from firms trying to get us to switch, so I figured this was just another sales pitch. Asked him to send info by email but nothing has turned up yet. Bit worried they might be misusing our email. The bloke had a southern accent, maybe from London.

kept getting calls from someone saying they were with Onecom, even after i told them I wasn’t looking to switch my mobile plan. really aggressive sales people, just wouldn’t accept a proper no.

Got a call on my mobile from a Liverpool number, asked if I was with O2, said no. Then he asked about Virgin, said no again. He wanted to know if I’d switched providers recently, which I hadn’t, but I kept mum about who I actually use. Tried ringing him back but kept my number private like always, wouldn’t you know it, I couldn’t get through. Now the number’s blocked. Definitely another dodgy scam call, I reckon.
