He never gave me his name, just rang up trying to sell some solar panel check. I told him straight away that I’m on the TPS and my number’s ex-directory, asked him not to call back. What’s this so-called national database they keep mentioning? I’ve had quite a few annoying calls using that as their excuse. Can anyone tell me how to remove myself from that list?

They rang me up and as soon as I said I wasn’t interested, this person snapped at me, “what do you mean you’re not interested?” in a really rude way. When I answered back sharp, they just hung up on me. I tried to ring them back but the number just won’t go through. Honestly, they’re not professional at all. Best thing to do is just hang up on them.

I’ve just had a phone call from this number, but they didn’t bother to leave a voicemail. That’s a pretty good indication it’s some sort of con, don’t you think? If it were a reputable company, surely they’d have taken a moment to drop a courteous message, right? It’s rather disappointing that someone on this thread has cautioned against jumping to conclusions but hasn’t provided any info about what the company actually does! To me, it feels like perhaps they are on the payroll of the business in question! Seems like someone’s out to get their sticky fingers on your hard-earned cash!

Spoke to a really nice bloke over the phone who arranged a solar energy check at my place completely free. Ended up sorting an amazing self-funded setup for myself. The assessor who came round was also really friendly! Definitely suggest giving them a chance and getting yourself booked in for one.

I received a call from this number just now. The person on the other end jumped straight in, asking if they were speaking to the property owner before they could proceed with any questions. Naturally, I wanted to know who I was talking to. It was a certain Danielle from Cheshire and Green, but she kept insisting on confirming if I was the home owner. I pressed for details about Cheshire and Green, but she strangely continued to parrot her previous question. Eventually, after I insisted on clarification, she simply hung up. Quite the peculiar exchange, I must say!

A caller rang up wanting to discuss solar panels with the homeowner. When I asked where they found my number, they claimed it came from some "national database." I pointed out that my number’s ex-directory, so it shouldn’t be listed anywhere. They insisted that ex-directory just meant I wasn’t listed in the phone book but didn’t clarify what this database actually was. Each time I asked for more info, they just told me to look it up on Google but refused to explain what I’d find there. Quite dodgy, if you ask me.
