11 yearsWhat I usually do is wait for them to call and then just hang up straight away. After that, I just pop into my call history and block the number. Problem solved!!! - caller: Unknown11 yearsGot a call from someone saying it was about a PPI refund and that I should be getting money back. They told me to call "Mark Price" but I reckon it was one of those scams where you don’t get to hang up properly. I just ignored it and ended the call. Definitely seemed really sketchy - caller name was Mark Price.Mark Price11 yearsThis lot are a scam, honestly they kept calling non stop pushing me to take out some loan and pay the first instalment. Ridiculous! Looks like a man and a woman behind it, with a Liverpool area code. Tried checking their site loans2you.co.uk but it’s not even real. Phone calls felt like blackmail, saying if I didn’t accept the loan I couldn’t even talk to a manager. Proper dodgy and need to be shut down.Liverpool11 yearsJust got a ring from these lot, trying to sell me a loan. The bloke said he sent my application off to be checked and promised to phone back in 15 minutes. When he does, he's in for a bit of a telling off from me. Number that called was 0151 528 5143.Blimey12 yearsThis has to be a total scam, and sadly, I got caught up in it just today. I was searching for low APR loans and found a site called www.bittfinance.uk that seemed pretty legit. I went ahead and applied, even got approved, but then they asked me to pay £150 upfront as a “first payment,” which I foolishly did. After that, they came back saying I needed to shell out nearly £300 for some tax-related fee before they'd release the money. That didn’t sit right with me, so I refused. They’ve also got another site, www.trustedhomeloans.co.uk, supposedly linked to an address in Sheffield, but the number they call from has a Merseyside code. When I asked for my £150 back, they said no refunds. No complaints process either. Once they realised I wasn't going to pay the extra, they started calling me names and threatening me, claiming they knew where I lived and would cause trouble. I told them to try if they wanted, but doubt they’ll actually do anything. Honestly, steer well clear of this number and never send any upfront cash. Don’t say you weren’t warned! Hope no one else ends up dealing with these awful people. - caller: Robert Dunn (Asian accent)Old Hall MewsSheffieldSouth YorkshireMerseysideRobert Dunn12 yearsDO NOT trust this number! They claim they can sort you with a loan but only if you pay the first instalment in advance (we fell for it, unfortunately). Later, I discovered it’s actually against the law to ask for cash upfront... Then they had the nerve to ring again wanting even more money. Honestly, just ignore and hang up. Caller ID showed “mr george uk trusted loans” but it’s a total scam.GeorgeUK Trusted Loans12 yearsGot a call from this number saying they were some loan company but wouldn’t say which one, just told me a broker gave them my info. They somehow had all my personal stuff like my name, address and date of birth. They said my loan was approved but I had to pay the first instalment straight away. They also mentioned if I had a guarantor then I wouldn’t have to pay anything upfront. They were really pushy on the phone and as soon as they asked for my debit card number and CVV, I got suspicious. I started asking them proper questions and they couldn’t really answer, so I just ended the call. BEWARE OF THIS SCAM!!! - caller ID: ?????12 yearsGot a call about 10 minutes ago from the same phone number, saying they were from trusted home loans. They wanted me to pay a £90 monthly fee on a £2000 loan before they’d send any money. Sounds like a proper scam to me. Be careful and avoid them - number was 01515289934.12 yearsThey take money right outta your bank, total scam.12 yearsI tried getting through to this number with Text Relay, but they just ended the call straight away. Honestly, it speaks volumes - avoid this number if you can. The caller claimed to be from 'Trusted Home Loans'.12 yearsTotal scam! They wouldn't send me any documents or even an email before I had to pay the first instalment. Some guy named 'Jordan' said he worked for Lite Loans, but I couldn't find any trace of that company online, even though they claimed to have done 100,000 loans. I checked with my original broker from earlier, and they had never come across Lite Loans and said processing would take at least a day. Definitely dodgy - caller was Jordan from Lite Loans.Lite LoansJordan12 yearsSo this company says they’re a loan provider but you have to pay the first payment before they’ll send any money. Another choice is to have a guarantor. Who would actually go for that? They’re claiming to offer loans under 9% interest and say they accept everyone. It sounds too good to be true, so I’m wondering if it’s a scam. The phone number they gave doesn’t seem to be registered to anyone real either. Seems fishy to me.12 yearsI had almost the same experience. The way these people talk and push you hard really feels like a total scam. Who in their right mind asks for the first payment straight away, then hands over their bank info, promising to send the money right away without any paperwork or contracts? It’s sketchy as hell. I just ended the call right there and then.12 yearsThey claim to be a proper loan business.12 yearsI'd strongly advise against taking out any loans from this company. It's nothing short of a scam, and they have a knack for swindling your hard-earned cash!Submit Your Own Report (0151 528 9934)
