Got a call from this number just one time today.

I got a call from them and they already had my name and where I live. They began asking loads of questions, like if I’ve got any kids, whether I own my home or rent, and what TV services I use like Netflix, Sky or Virgin. They even asked if I have life insurance. After I answered all their questions, they closed the call by double-checking my name and address once more!

Got called a couple of times from this number, but I didn’t say anything back coz I didn’t know who it was. Both times, the person just dropped the call straight away without saying anything.

So this caller asked me why I haven’t got life insurance, and I just told him I don’t have any. Then he goes on about what if I ever need it, especially when I have kids. I told him again, I’m not interested. He asked if I was absolutely certain, and I said yes, for now anyway. Then he said he’d ring me again in a few weeks. I told him no thanks, I’m good, don’t need it at all.

Some muppet rang me up claiming he had loads of lottery tickets to post to my house… no clue where he got my info from though. He kept going on about how I could get tons of tickets for barely any money. After a bit, I cut him off and told him straight up I’d never be handing over my bank info, no chance. Turns out that was the end of his little scam attempt, and he hung up. Proper annoying twit.

Got a call from 01514590665 back on 5th Jan 2021 when I wasn’t home. They were asking specifically for me by name. I rang them back and they picked up saying "Lotto". Didn’t hang around, just ended the call and blocked the number since I’m not into Lotto stuff.

I rang back the Lotto Services UK number and got this really rude bloke on the line. He said he's a manager but wouldn't tell me his name or where their headquarters were. Honestly, even if I fancied using their services, I wouldn’t bother now with that attitude.

I’ve kept this number blocked since before Christmas and haven’t picked up once. They rang once yesterday and have called me four times today. We have no contacts in Liverpool, so I’d definitely suggest blocking it ASAP if you haven’t done so already.

What a scam! They kept saying they attempted to deliver a parcel three times today and want me to pay a delivery fee. Thing is, I’ve got CCTV pointed at the front door and there wasn’t a single person there. I’ve blocked the number straight away - feels really dodgy!

They called me up, sounded quite friendly and even mentioned my name and address. They told me I could get a free entry into the Lotto, but when I asked who they were, they just ended the call. Bit suspicious really.

The police seriously need to get tough on these scammers. I only pick up calls from numbers I know, anything else just goes to voicemail. My phone flagged this one as fraud, so I looked it up here and sure enough, according to the reviews, it's a lottery scam. I've blocked and reported it now. If you have elderly family members, definitely warn them especially around this time of year, these tricks seem to be ramping up.

I got suspicious it might be a scam so I rang the lottery's main office to confirm. They said the number matched the Liverpool region, so it wasn’t them. They advised me to handle it as a scam and said they’d investigate further. They’re going to report it to Action Fraud to try and catch whoever’s behind it. Really important not to hand out your bank or card info to anyone - your cash is yours, don’t let anyone nick it. Stay careful out there, Chris.
