This guy calling had an accent I couldn't place and somehow already knew my name. He was pushing life insurance on me, which I clearly said I wasn’t into. But he just wouldn't stop chatting. I even tried to end the call but felt like he was deliberately stopping me from hanging up. Proper annoying!

Got a call from 01514590639 saying they were with the 'national lottery'. What really freaked me out was how he already had my name and where I live. I didn’t give any info back and told him to take me off whatever list he was using. He claimed he wasn’t allowed to do that. I mentioned GDPR rules and just ended the call!

I’ve blocked all the numbers that aren’t already saved in my contacts. Seriously, don’t ring these numbers back, or you’ll end up with expensive premium rate charges and your phone acting up.
