Got a call from a woman who sounded like she might be of Asian background, going by the name Jenny. She claimed she was ringing on behalf of British Telecom. I just replied with "well done" and ended the call straight away. Pretty obvious it was a scam. Honestly, they should really improve their game if they think they can trick anyone. At this rate, they may as well just shout "SCAM!" right at the beginning!

Got a call from 01514560689 a while back, sounded like an Asian woman asking for someone who definitely wasn’t me. It felt like one of those classic scam calls making a comeback after a few years. Pretty obvious it’s just them trying the same old tricks again. ####

I got a call on 01514560689 from a bloke with a thick accent who said he was calling from some sort of Telephone Fault Service. His English was pretty rough and hard to understand. It felt dodgy straight away, so I just hung up right away. Definitely seemed like a scam.

I got a call from an Asian lady claiming her company partners with my phone provider to offer better prices. When I asked her who my provider was, she said she had no idea. I told her not to mess about and just hang up. Total waste of time honestly. 🤷‍♀️

This bloke called me, said his name was Robin Jones and claimed he was with some national phone blocking service. He asked me to grab my bank statement because he said he needed my account details, sort code, the bank’s name, and wanted remote access to my phone, house phone and computer. He told me not to hang up no matter what, but I just ended up hanging up on him straight away.

Got a call from 0151 456 0689, some woman with an Indian accent trying to sell me a cheaper landline deal. I said I wasn't the person who handles phone stuff in my house, and she just hung up straight away!
