I rang 141 before calling this number, and an American woman picked up, introducing herself as a BT agent, claiming she'd transfer me to someone else. Honestly, what's the point? Who do they think is actually going to wait around for an agent? I had no intention of sticking around to discover their so-called agenda. This feels like nothing more than a scam and a right pain. BT could easily resolve this issue, but I can't help but wonder if they're getting some kickback or commission. I reside in Norfolk, by the way.
