I called 141 first and then rang that number. A lady with an American accent picked up and said she was a BT rep and would connect me to an agent. Seriously, what’s the point? Who waits around for an agent these days? I didn’t stick about to hear what the so-called agent wanted. It’s clearly a scam and just a pain. BT should have no issue cracking down on this, but maybe they're getting some kind of kickback? I’m writing from Norfolk.
