Got a call from someone saying he was Sean, claiming to be calling from O2, which is my phone company. When I asked who Sean actually was, he said my number was chosen for some sort of special offer. Then he tried to pass me over to a 'supervisor' to help me go through the whole thing. I just ended up hanging up. The number that called was 01514560608.

As a lot of people have already pointed out, this number is linked to a notorious con artist named Stuart Wright. His details have popped up associated with various numbers before. From what I found, Stuart resides at 21A Plymouth Road, Barnt Green, Birmingham, B45 8JF. Considering all the scams he’s pulled, it makes sense he’s living in a pretty hefty place!

Got a call from someone pretending to be from Carphone Warehouse, said they had better deals on phones. They kept ringing even after I said no, so I just ended the call and blocked the number straight away.

Got a ring from this number but as soon as I picked up, they just ended the call. Tried ringing back but it just said “cannot connect your call” or something like that. I’m going to add this number to my block list. I don't have any contract or contact with Carphone Warehouse and my number's on the Telephone Preference Service, so seems like a dodgy scam to me.

Got a call from someone saying they were from O2, trying to pitch some kind of discount deal. The accent sounded a bit off and the way they spoke didn’t feel right. I just told them my signal was bad and ended the call.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with Carphone Warehouse. When I asked how they got my info, they started naming every UK phone network I could think of. The accent was quite thick and a bit tricky to catch, kept replying with "OK" over and over. Then suddenly, the line went dead.
