I told this woman she’d got the wrong number, but she started yelling at me, asking how I could be sure it was wrong. I just said my phone flagged it as a scam, but she wasn’t having any of it. Not very pleasant at all.

The thing is, I don’t have any kind of policy with those companies. When I probed him about which specific policy he was referring to, he abruptly ended the call. It was crystal clear that this was dodgy.

What an exceptionally discourteous chap! I was in the midst of discussing life insurance options with Aviva, Sun Life, and Legal & General when I informed him that I couldn’t chat as I was at work. His response? He grumbled something along the lines of "Why didn’t you mention that earlier? You’re just wasting my time!" Honestly, you wouldn’t believe it if you hadn’t heard it! I've promptly blocked his number now.

I just picked up and kept quiet, and then they went off the line - so annoying! The calls always start with 0151 but the ending digits switch up all the time. I've blocked all the numbers they’ve used before, but these folks keep ringing from different ones.
