They called me saying they were from some organisation (didn’t quite catch the name) that deals with firms like Aviva and Royal London. Asked if I had any life insurance sorted. I told them nicely I wasn’t interested in talking about it and then got asked why not. Proper cheeky!

someone called asking if i'd got life insurance and who with, i just said no thanks i’m not interested and quickly ended the call, then blocked the number straight away.

I told this woman she’d got the wrong number, but she started yelling at me, asking how I could be sure it was wrong. I just said my phone flagged it as a scam, but she wasn’t having any of it. Not very pleasant at all.

Since I don’t have any policies with those firms, I asked which one exactly he meant, just to check he was legit. As soon as I did, the bloke just cut the call. Pretty obvious it was a scam.

What a cheeky bloke! He rang up about life insurance from Aviva, Sun Life and Legal & General, but when I mentioned I was at work and couldn’t chat, he snapped back with something like “then why didn’t you say that earlier? You’re just wasting my time!” Seriously, it was like a scene out of a comedy. Needless to say, I’ve blocked the number now.

I got a call from an Indian lady who claimed my Life Insurance was about to expire and needed an upgrade. As soon as I told her she was trying to scam me, she kept pushing non-stop! Eventually, she just hung up on me! 😂

The bloke on the other end wasn't very polite, insisting I’d filled out a form on some dot org dot com site. When I told him I’d looked up the number online and found loads of warnings about scams, he got pretty nasty and told me I only needed to answer yes or no. Watch out for these lot!

I just picked up and kept quiet, and then they went off the line - so annoying! The calls always start with 0151 but the ending digits switch up all the time. I've blocked all the numbers they’ve used before, but these folks keep ringing from different ones. They’re clearly just hanging about with nothing better to do, trying to con people out of their cash. Best just ignore these scammers altogether.
