Number looked like it was from Liverpool but they stopped calling after just a few rings. Feels like a scam attempt, think my details got leaked through Dominos, Pizza Hut or maybe Uber Eats or something.

These people are really annoying 😤 they ring me like 4 or 5 times every single day. I finally picked up once just to find out what they wanted. The woman asked me loads of questions like how much I pay for my tariff and what phone I’ve got. Then, based on what I told her, she said I’m paying way too much and should change it right away. I said I’d rather check it out in the shop myself, but she kept insisting, saying we could sort it now. Even when I said no, she wouldn’t back off. Honestly, my advice is to just ignore these numbers and don’t waste your time with them.

I missed this call. From what others are saying, I’m guessing it’s a scam. Plus, the text I got after was from a totally different number with a different area code, which seemed a bit fishy too.

Picked up the phone thinking it was someone I was waiting for, but they claimed to be from Carphone Warehouse. The line was really crackly and it was hard to understand them, plus their English was quite off. Decided to block the number after that.

Got a call from a woman claiming to be from my broadband company. She sounded Asian. When I asked her a few times which provider she was from, she didn’t answer. I told her I don’t even have internet, then she just hung up. Earlier that same day, a man with an Asian accent called saying he was from EE. I told him I wasn’t an EE customer and he ended the call straight away. These kinds of calls are so dodgy, they really need to be stopped and the people behind them made to face the law!

Somebody claimed to be from EE and started pushing a bundle deal for £35 a month, then dropped it down to £20, then £15, and ended at £10. I was getting pretty bored and eventually told them I’m not even with EE. The caller was cool about it, just thanked me and said goodbye.

A really nice bloke called Sam rang me, said he was from some company I couldn’t really catch the name of. He had no idea who I was, so I’m guessing it was either a scam or some cold call marketing, which is pretty cheeky. I played along for a bit, just messing about and wasting his time, before I ended the call, blocked the number and reported it.

Most likely a scam call but it stopped ringing before I could pick up. About 30 minutes ago I got a weird call from some sketchy company, I was pretty straight with them and blocked the number right away so I guess these 2 calls are linked. Just like everyone else has said, but when I questioned him at first, the Asian bloke claimed he was ringing from London (my phone showed it as 02080506287). I ended the call, then moments later he phoned me back from 01514530876!!! Saying we got disconnected!! Bloody same guy, seriously.

Got a call from 01514530876 saying they’re from a phone company offering deals on sims and handsets. I said no thanks nicely, but then they asked how much my current sim costs. I refused again and then they just suddenly hung up. They called me back later in the afternoon, so I ended up blocking the number.

I picked up since the call showed a Liverpool area code & thought it might be someone I was waiting for. The caller spoke in really poor English, making it hard to make out what they said. I assumed it was a wrong number and ended the call. Later I realised they were just asking how I was, probably some spam marketing rubbish. How do they manage to do this, especially when I’m supposed to be on the TPS list?
