I received a phone call from a lady purporting to be conducting a review of my life insurance policy. However, she mentioned that they were from a third-party firm since actual insurance companies supposedly can't provide advice. It felt rather fishy, as they hinted that even a minor discrepancy in my height could jeopardise my policy. To add to the oddness, they insisted on probing into my medical background. Quite concerning, really!

Had a really unpleasant woman on the phone asking about my life insurance. When i told her to take me off their list, she snapped back asking why i'd agreed to be contacted. I said i hadn't and refused to give any details. After that she muttered some annoyed comments and just ended the call.

Just got a call from this number claiming to be from the outbound policy team. They said they were checking if my life insurance is still valid and up to date. The lady said they look over policies from about 11 different insurers to make sure there’s no reason my insurance wouldn’t pay out due to any inconsistencies. She sounded quite convincing, but something felt off, especially when she couldn’t tell me how long I’d had my policy or which company it was with, so I ended the call.

just got a call from this number about my life insurance with legal & general. the guy wanted to check that the policy would still pay out when needed. he asked how long i’d had the insurance, which i couldn’t recall, then asked if i'm waiting for hospital treatment or if I’ve got any recent diagnoses. i said I’m in good health but then stopped to think - he claimed to be calling on behalf of l&g, which sounded odd to me. so i found an excuse and ended the call. checked the number afterwards and definitely wont be picking up if they call again. also blocked it now.
