Got a call on my three mobile on wed 24Mar21 from Liverpool 0151 4386769, the caller ID said POSSIBLE SCAM. Didn’t pick up and the call got cut off. Just reported it to 7726 and blocked the number. Cheers to this forum for the heads up, glad I didn’t get trapped!

Got a call from a life insurance company asking to check my current policy and wanted my personal info. I didn’t recognise the firm at all. I said no and the woman on the other end turned quite nasty. Make sure to block that number!

Call 1: Rang me saying they were from some life insurance firm. Told em I wasn’t interested and ended the call. Call 2 (like 5 secs later): They said they weren’t selling anything but checking if I’d been scammed. I just said no thanks and hung up again. Call 3: (another 5 secs after): Before the person could even speak properly, I told em I didn’t care about whatever they wanted to say about mis-sold insurance and hung up once more. Blocked the number straight away!!!

Greetings. I recently reached out regarding a life insurance policy and was hoping to gather some information over the phone. Initially, the woman I spoke with was pleasant and accommodating. However, things took a turn later on when I wished to continue our discussion. She began to raise her voice, clearly frustrated. When I suggested that she send the information via email instead, her tone changed drastically; she became quite cross and ended the call rather abruptly. So, just a word of caution, everyone... tread carefully.

Sounds like a typical telemarketer to me. When I picked up, the person said they had some great deals I might like. I asked what the deals were, and then they said they’d tell me only if I gave them my address, name and age. No way I’m giving that out!
