Scam call from 01513950137. Answered the phone and the person said Mr Bassett, I asked who was calling but he just said you must be Mrs Bassett. I asked again who it was and then the call just cut off. After checking other reviews, definitely a scam.

Got a missed call from these lot, after seeing so many bad reviews I’m just gonna block them. Options UK called me a while back, something about dodgy solar panel deals. I actually ended up speaking to them for a whole hour on the way home - made the journey fly by a bit! Told them if they rang me again I’d charge them £100 a minute. They never bothered calling back after that.

Got a call from some telemarketing firm saying they were checking on mis-sold solar energy deals. The person sounded like they had an Asian accent and kept ringing me repeatedly. No matter how many times I said, ‘No thanks, not interested,’ they just wouldn’t quit. So the next time they called, I told them they’d reached the police fraud division and asked them to press 1 to report a scam. Unsurprisingly, they cut off straight away. My phone buzzed and when I picked up, there was silence. Annoyed at being disturbed, I looked up the number here and sure enough, it’s just another scam. I then spent a bit of time calling back and hanging up on them, just to make them waste their time like they did mine. It didn’t really change anything but it made me feel a bit better! Also, there were at least four different voices answering, with others audible in the background, showing how many people are behind this racket.

Got a call from 0151 3950137, claiming to be Options UK about some solar panel compensation. I didn’t give any of my info. Our business closed down ages ago, so we don’t have any records. I get calls about once a month, always this robotic Indian voice asking for a Mr King. I told them there’s no one by that name here, and they usually just hang up. The caller had a really thick accent that was hard to catch, and there were moments where the sound cut out entirely, which made me suspicious.
