Got a call sayin press 1 to talk to Vodafone. But I’m not a Vodafone customer. I looked it up on Vodafone’s site and this number’s not listed there at all.

They called me thrice today. The second time I picked up, all I could hear was crackling and some bloke speaking super fast in an Asian language.

I looked up the number and saw 31 folks were checking it out too. Then Apple’s automated system picked up and said “hello” in a strong accent. As soon as they figured out it was Apple calling, the line went dead straight away.

Got a call from someone with an Indian accent, said his name was Jordan and he was from EE. He actually knew my name, which was a bit odd. He kept saying I’d had poor service and was trying to offer me some kind of discount. Then he went on about EE merging with BT as a reason for the deal, seemed a bit fishy to me.
