On the 5th of May, a bloke rang me up about some Life Insurance policy that I don't even have. I called him out for being a scammer, but he kept insisting he wasn't. Then he asked how I figured that out, but I just gave him the silent treatment. When I picked up, I answered thinking it might be someone I know since I’ve got family with the 0151 phone code. He then asked if I was Barbara! I said that’s a name I only go by with family and close mates, not some stranger who wouldn’t say his own name.

Someone rang up to see if I was paying too much for my life insurance. The lady on the line spoke really broken English with a strong Asian accent, and there was a huge lag during the call. I told her to wait a moment while I found my policy details. I popped off to make a cuppa, and by the time I came back, the call had been disconnected. Bit cheeky, if you ask me. Could have been dodgy, I didn’t share any of my info anyway.
