total insurance fraudsters. they honestly had all the right info about a little car crash i had ages back, like over a year ago. kept saying they were from direct line insurance, trying their best to get my bank info - mind you, they already knew my date of birth and where i live. definitely switching my insurance after this. feels like they got this info from someone in the company. i wish i could drop by their “office” and be as much of a pest to them as they’ve been to me.

dodgy call. best just block and report it, or you'll get a right rude tone if you don't play along or answer stuff about your current or cancelled car insurance. they pretend like they're from your insurer but they’re not. try asking for a car insurance reference, they won’t have a clue and can’t give you one :)

Got a call from some insurance scammers. I told them the exact date of an accident that was sorted over 20 months ago with no injury claims. Then I asked where they got my details from. Turns out it was Privilege Insurance, who I had at the time and swore they’d never share my info because it’s against the law!
