Got a phone call and they said who they were, not like the usual random ones. Asked about an accident I had, was a bit suspicious but ended up sharing the details anyway. Turns out they were genuine!! I got £2300 compensation. Gotta say, I’m well pleased!

I had a bad experience with them too, got rear-ended by some idiot boy racer in Bradford last year. It went through the M.I.B and they couldn't trace the person. My insurer back then, Aviva, couldn't help since the police never got a number plate. It was a clear hit and run. I just wanted to see if I could get back the excess I lost, but ended up with £1600 for some minor aches, even though I was wearing my seatbelt. I reckon sometimes we lump some decent independents in with all the ambulance chasers, but honestly, they’re not the same.

It seems I've been receiving calls from the Travel Advisory Bureau, yet I’ve never booked a holiday with them. I've been plagued by calls from 0151 375 9628 and 0151 375 9706, mostly leading to silence or no messages at all. Out of sheer curiosity, I decided to call the 9628 number using a withheld line, only to be informed that they were searching for someone named Darren James. Clearly, they must have dialled the wrong number! However, it raises a rather perplexing question-if I withheld my number, how on earth did they know what number I was discussing? Something definitely feels off about this situation…

Got a call from a bloke called Phil, sounded like he was from Liverpool, asking about a claim from a car crash at my house, even gave my full address. I haven’t had any accidents or claims. Just another dodgy cold call trying to catch you out.

I can definitely say this number is a right pain! I've received several calls from them previously, all about an accident that I’ve never been involved in and an injury I’ve never had - funny how they claim to have all the details! I’ve let five of their calls go unanswered in the past two days alone, yet they persist in trying to reach me! It’s utterly infuriating and feels quite intrusive. I received a rather perplexing call earlier, where the caller requested to speak with my daughter. I mentioned she wasn't around and offered to take a message. The individual on the line claimed they were reaching out regarding a recent claim connected to her car damage. Truth be told, I found it rather inappropriate for them to be discussing my daughter's matters with me. After all, she’s only had the vehicle for a mere handful of days and doesn’t even possess a driving licence yet - quite amusing, really! I explained that she hasn’t a licence, had no clue where to drive, and promptly ended the conversation. To my surprise, the caller then began bombarding me with calls until I eventually had to block their number.

Got a call asking for my daughter, told them she wasn't around and asked if they wanted to leave a message. They said it was about some car damage claim, which seemed odd as I don't think they should be chatting about her stuff with me really. The individual on the other end of the line was remarkably insistent about there being a cheque ready for me, despite the fact that I hadn’t sustained any injuries at all. I ended up hanging up as it all felt just a bit too far-fetched, not to mention he was probing for an alarming amount of personal information. For instance, he wanted my address, car registration, date of birth - you name it. Each time I gave a response, his reply would be, “That matches what we have on record - cheers!” It all felt rather dodgy, to say the least!
