Got called by this number a couple of times today, I usually ignore any unknown numbers and 0151 (Liverpool) ones are nearly always dodgy. I've never had an all inclusive holiday (wish I had!) and I haven’t claimed PPI. Blocked the number now.

It’s not exactly a scam, but the group ringing you are really just trying to fish for people to lodge claims against travel companies. I’m guessing they’ve purchased a list of customers from airlines or travel agents. They’re banking on the fact that there are often small issues with package holidays and hope you’ll be tempted to file a claim, which they then take a hefty cut from if it goes through. Honestly, it’s a pretty dodgy way of doing business. I’m surprised some folks actually get taken in or appear to be “baffled” by these calls.

They've been phoning me a couple times daily all week. I called back once, some woman answered, said my name and started going on about a travel claim. I asked which company it was, then she actually said my home address out loud. I told her I wasn’t interested and quickly ended the call.

Someone with a Liverpudlian accent rang me asking if I'd been on an All Inclusive holiday in the last couple of years. They claimed I was owed a refund of £1,500. But when I asked, they couldn't tell me which hotel or resort it was. Definitely a con trying to trick you into handing over your bank info. Never share your details with calls like this!

Got a missed call from this number and when I called back, a lady with a Liverpool accent answered saying I was through to some travel advisory board. I told her I missed a call from them, then she just cut the call. Looks like from what I’ve read here, it’s probably a scam.

THIS NUMBER RANG ME A FEW HOURS AGO AND THE MOMENT I ANSWERED THEY CUT THE CALL. IT’S PROBABLY ONE OF THOSE AUTOMATED SYSTEMS CHECKING IF THE NUMBER IS REAL SO THEY CAN RING BACK. IT WAS SOME TRAVEL CLAIMS SCAM. I TOLD THEM TO REMOVE ME FROM THEIR DATA AND THEN DISCONNECTED.

I rang the number back thinking it could be from a job agency. A bloke named Antony answered. He told me he was with a firm that handles complaints about all-inclusive resorts that failed safety and cleanliness checks. He mentioned there might be refunds up to £1500 for anyone who stayed there within the past two and a half years. I said I was at work and ended the call.

I got really worried when this number rang my phone 5 times during the day while I was at work. I tried calling back but only got some robot voice, so I just hung up. Later on, when I got back home, I saw the same number had rung our landline too. My husband picked up and told them he definitely didn’t have any computer virus - and they pretty much swore at him. I received a call today regarding an all-inclusive trip I supposedly took last year. When I mentioned whether they were offering me another holiday, the line abruptly disconnected. So, I attempted to call back and spoke to another representative who stated something similar. I jokingly asked if I was being barred from going on holiday or something along those lines. To my surprise, she informed me that I was actually entitled to some compensation because the company had failed to meet cleanliness standards. The twist is, I didn't even go on holiday last year; it was nearly two years ago! They've asked for my email so I could receive the claims form, and I gave it to them. I received a call from someone claiming to be with the Travel Advisory team, stating that I had arranged an all-inclusive holiday at some point in the last three years. They mentioned there have been grievances regarding the sanitation of lodgings linked to health risks, and apparently, holiday companies haven't relayed this information to their customers. Consequently, they're offering compensation that extends to the entire resort, not just your specific hotel. The next step is to expect an email from them; all they require is a copy of my booking confirmation. Supposedly, a cheque will follow through the post... Now I’m just biding my time for the email to arrive-curious to see what it contains!
