Got a call saying it was about an accident. I told them I’d had one but they couldn’t provide any details. They couldn’t give me a reference number either. Then the woman called her manager who was meant to know more but actually knew nothing. While still on the line, I searched online and told them they were frauds, and the manager just chuckled. I blocked the number straight away.

I keep getting hounded by these blokes incessantly. My advice? Don’t pick up! Alternatively, if you’ve got a spare moment, play along and tell them you’ve tragically passed away in a terrible accident. It’s quite amusing to watch them stick to their script until it finally registers with them. At that point, feel free to disconnect. They’ll surely scold you for wasting their precious time!

Got a call saying I was in a car crash within the past 2 and a half years. I told them it’s been 7 years since my last accident. Told them to take me off their list or I'd report them for pestering. The woman on the phone was really rude and then just cut me off.

They said they was from LVI Assist and I went along with it since I had a crash almost two years ago and my insurance is with LV. They kept pressing that my son needed to self-medicate and had pain in his neck and shoulders, saying it had to have lasted over eight weeks. They also wanted me to admit there was damage to my car worth over £500, even tho I didn't have any pics. Then they put me onto a manager who transferred me to UK Law Solicitors. That's when I decided to hang up and said I’d call back another time.
