Yeah, this number is one of those where you pick up and there's this awkward silence before someone comes on asking how you are, calling you Mrs something but getting your name all wrong. Then they start talking about some accident, which is just bizarre. They clearly don’t bother checking who they’re ringing. When my mum-in-law, who’s quite old, got calls like this she’d be proper stressed out, wondering what accident they meant and who it was about. It’s really not on and they should ban these calls altogether, it’s just not right.

Got a call from AMS Nationwide claiming they can help recover money for a road accident that never even happened. Honestly, some of the worst scammers I’ve ever dealt with, just complete time wasters. My advice? Keep the line open and let them rack up charges until they hopefully go bust.
