Got a call from this number today, they were talking about some 'car insurance accident claim' I supposedly had. Since I get these types of calls quite a bit, I decided to play along and ask a few questions. When I asked, ‘which insurance company was it?’ the person immediately said, ‘Oh, I must’ve dialled the wrong number.’ I just told them ‘scam alert!’ I don’t usually answer unknown numbers, but a close family member had a heart attack recently so I’ve been picking up calls just in case. Had a similar call just yesterday and did the same thing.

So annoying, getting four calls from them today! I blocked and rejected a couple of their numbers, just like I did with the other ones a while ago. Seriously, why don’t they just leave a single voicemail? If I’m interested, I’ll get back to them. But if I ignore them across all their different lines, surely that’s a clear sign to stop calling? Give it a rest!

They called me two times today but I didn’t pick up.

This number kept ringing me a few times. I did pick up once and told them to stop calling, but they just didn’t listen.

Apparently they already logged that I’d been in a car accident. I asked if they were linked to that company everyone’s been moaning about for cold calls. The bloke on the phone said he hadn’t a clue about any complaints or bad press. I told him to remove my number from their accident files and suggested he check old newspapers or maybe the Daily Mail for the fuss. He did say sorry but never mentioned which company he was from.
