I received a call from the number listed above today, claiming it was regarding an 'outstanding car insurance accident claim.' Given that I frequently receive such calls, I decided to throw a few questions back at the caller. When I asked him, 'Which insurance company are we talking about?' he rather hastily replied, 'Oh, I must have dialled the wrong number.' To that, I simply said, 'You’re a scammer.' Usually, I don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognise, but due to a recent medical emergency in the family-a close relative suffered a heart attack just days ago-I’ve been more inclined to respond to unfamiliar calls. I had a similar experience just yesterday as well!

Absolutely tedious! I received a total of four calls from this lot today. I've already turned down and blocked a couple of their numbers, much like I did with a bunch of other similar digits earlier this month. It would be splendid if they could simply leave one message. If I feel like returning the call, I will do so. If I'm not inclined to chat with you across any of your numbers - be it one, two, three, or four - then perhaps it's time to take the hint, eh?

I've received numerous calls from this number. The one time I did pick up, I requested to be taken off their list.

According to their records, I’ve had a brush with the law in a traffic incident. When I inquired whether they were the outfit that had recently faced scrutiny for relentless cold calling, the gentleman on the other end claimed to be oblivious to any such matters. He assured me he’d remove my number from their incident list. I suggested he might want to peruse some back issues of the Daily Mail or another paper just in case. Sorry, but I didn’t catch the name of the company.
