Some woman with a strong scouse accent claimed she was from Nationwide. When I asked her a few questions, she started getting really rude. I told her I was proper annoyed with these calls and she just got even more heated. She said I must’ve given my number on some online survey, but I never fill those in.

Got a call from this number earlier but didn’t pick up since I didn’t know who it was. Turns out it’s something to do with 'car accidents'. I’ll just block it now. My daughter got a call like that not long ago, and she told them she hadn’t heard anything so assumed she got off scot-free and hoped she hadn’t actually hit anyone. The caller hung up pretty sharpish after that. Wish I’d come up with something like that on the spot!

I told them I was recording the call and would report them to the cops for harassment, but they just claimed they weren't doing anything wrong. Then I asked where the accident supposedly happened and they had no clue, which makes sense since I've never been in one.
