I got a call from some lettings agency claiming they’d had complaints about my property. I told them I don’t actually rent it out, and then they started asking if I was alright. Didn’t sound right so I just hung up and blocked the number.

A woman rang me claiming to be from the tenants' association regarding some issues I'd flagged. When I enquired about which association, she mentioned "Hart." However, I wasn't familiar with that name, so I told her she must have dialled the wrong number, and just like that, the call ended abruptly. I've seen a few others mentioning this number as well, which raises a few red flags. The fact that she knew my name puts me on high alert.

When I asked where she found my number, she just smirked and said “wouldn’t you like to know.” Well, yeah, that’s why I’m asking. Received a call from this number on the 18th of October, 2017. When I picked up, a woman on the line asked if she was speaking to me by name. I confirmed by saying "that's me," and she followed up with a rather cheeky remark about not being fond of calls from unknown numbers. She then proceeded to declare that she'd be ringing me daily before abruptly hanging up. Quite the bizarre encounter, I must say!
