Got a recorded call saying it’s about replacing my boiler with some government-funded scheme. I just hung up straight away. Seems like a typical scam to me. If you’re curious, have a look at sites like MoneySavingExpert or other financial advice pages. Sure, there might be some grants but they’re only for certain folks and won’t cover everything. Calls from numbers like 01513571591? Almost definitely dodgy. Don’t follow any instructions or press buttons without checking proper info first. Sometimes they say press 2 to speak to someone but that could be a pricey line and racking up your phone bill quick. Stay cautious!

This number keeps ringing me up loads of times and whenever I mention I'm registered with the TPS, they say they’re not trying to sell anything. They claim there's some government grant that pays for installation costs or something. Proper annoying.

They promise you a "free" boiler replacement claiming it's some sort of government deal.

But at the end of the day, you'll end up paying for it. No such thing as a free boiler with these lot.
