This insurance call is an absolute scam and totally against the law. I've told them to stop and delete my info several times, but they keep ringing me - I've had six calls from about five different numbers already. I tried reporting them to Action Fraud, but apparently I didn't give them enough proof to take it further. If anyone has recorded a chat with these people or managed to get details about what they’re actually selling, please do the same and report it to Action Fraud. We need to stop others from getting caught out by this!

Got a call from this number around 11 this morning but didn’t pick up since I didn’t know who it was. After checking the comments now, I’ve gone ahead and blocked it. Seems like it’s a dodgy call, probably a scam.

Hi, got a call today pretending to be from some national accident hotline, wanting to speak to my kid! Never had anything like this before, feels like a scam. Makes me wonder if anyone’s recently done a COVID test in their family, because honestly, I can’t figure out how these people got hold of my children’s names otherwise.

I got a call from someone who said they were with National Claims Helpline, sounded dodgy to me. Pretty sure it was just a scam.

Got a call from a guy with a strong accent who somehow knew my name, but I could tell he was in a noisy call centre. Just for laughs, I faked not hearing anything and then dropped the call. I've blocked the number since then.

It only rang twice and the caller ID showed something like Possible Scam.

I got a call on my cell from someone asking for my kid by their full name. Seems like I’m not the only one, judging by another comment I found with the same story. The number showed as from Liverpool, so I picked up, thinking it was local. The lady said, "Hello, I’m Jenny from National Claims Helpline." I told her it’s totally wrong to bother minors like that, then she just cut the call. The voice sounded Indian, if I’m not mistaken.

Got a call from a bloke with an accent, and somehow they already knew my name. I could hear loads of voices, sounded like some call centre buzzing away. He said it was about a road accident I’d been in sometime over the last couple of years. I told him to put me on their do-not-call list, but he insisted they weren’t telemarketers. I told him not to ring me back ever again, and then he just ended the call.

Just got a phone call earlier today from someone named Jenny, claiming to be from a Claim Helpline about a road accident I supposedly had. She said it was minor, no injuries and definitely not my fault. When I asked which date the accident was on, she couldn’t give me an answer and quickly hung up. Sounds like classic ambulance chasing scammers to me!

I got a call from someone who already seemed to know my name and claimed they were ringing about an accident I’d been involved in. This isn’t the first time either - I keep getting calls like this, even once from 0151 347 8943 back on 15/9/20. Thing is, I haven’t had any accident at all, so I just ended the calls straight away.

After that, I got a couple more calls but chose not to answer. However, earlier today I answered and gave her my name, and she said thanks and after that, the calls stopped completely.
