This was a scam call for me too. Besides posting here, you can also officially report texts and emails on Offcom.org.uk, just follow the steps there. I tried to put the link in this comment but couldn’t figure out how, haha. If loads of us keep reporting these scam or phishing calls, texts, and emails, maybe they’ll actually do something about it. I report every one I get and always get a reply - they must be fed up of me by now!

Has anyone come across 0151 329 0382? I'm fed up with these annoying calls. Last time it was someone pretending to be from HMRC, telling me there’s a warrant out for me. Got a recorded scam message earlier - just figured out that most of my scam calls probably came from me logging into Facebook! I have this one account I usually keep off, but whenever I switch it on again with my fake name, within a day I start getting scam calls asking for that made-up name. Bit weird, right?

I never pick up calls from unknown numbers, no exceptions. If it's important, they’ll leave a voicemail. These scammers never bother with that, so it’s an easy choice. I’ve got a dodgy number blocker too, but these idiots just ring from a different number each time. For me, blocking a number takes 10 seconds tops, so I don’t let these muppets mess with my day.

Got a call from some guy named Cameron who kept calling me Mr Merry, which is totally wrong. I told him straight away, but he just kept going on about the PPI stuff. Had to raise my voice before he finally said sorry and promised to remove me from their list. Didn’t sound too happy about it though, not very cheerful at all.

My mobile just rang and the caller ID showed a Liverpool number. I picked up, expecting maybe a bit of fun playing along, but instead got a recorded message saying sorry, they couldn't connect my call. Bit daft, I know, but I said out loud that I didn't make the call. Just as I was about to hang up, I caught a quick word from what sounded like a foreign voice. Too late though, I’d already ended it. These calls are against the law, but since they’re probably coming from overseas, there’s really nothing the TPS or any official body can do to stop them.

I really hate all these ads for PPI, gambling, and house insurance, Direct Line is awful as well. I can’t afford to live properly and yet I get bombarded by this stuff every single day. I never pick up, yet these numbers keep ringing me constantly. Each one seems to finish with different digits. It’s like they have tons of extensions or something, ‘cause every time I block one, a brand new number pops up!
