Absolutely infuriating! These pests seem to have taken up permanent residence on my phone, calling me daily, sometimes multiple times. I've been receiving calls from some outfit every few days regarding an accident I was involved in last year. I wasn’t at fault, and thankfully, the other party’s insurance settled everything. It seems to me they're angling for me to make some sort of additional claim, maybe to line the pockets of a law firm or something. Been getting calls non-stop about a crash from last year. Definitely wasn’t my fault, and the other driver’s insurer already sorted everything out. So this woman phoned me, thinking I was in a car crash that happened about two years back. She had an Asian accent and there was a bloke in the background guiding her on what to say. They kept calling me seven times over just five hours, and eventually I got fed up and ended up having a go at them.

I’m really troubled to share that my daughter, who has learning difficulties, took a phone call from this individual. Sad to say, she mentioned something about a car accident and ended up revealing our address. Since then, he’s called us a couple of times, displaying quite an aggressive attitude and even calling my son a liar. The most effective approach to deal with this con artist is to occupy his time. I spun a yarn about having a mishap on the 31st of February, and he totally fell for it! I mentioned that there were four of us cruising in a Ferrari, and he took it hook, line, and sinker. When I threw in that the registration was F 0ff, he finally clued in. I received a rather unpleasant call from a gentleman, who claimed to be called James, and he certainly didn’t hold back in his language - told me to ‘f*** off’ more than once after I tried to address him again. Honestly, after the first attempt at conversation where he couldn’t be bothered to respond to my queries, I lost my patience and told him to ‘p*** off’ and hung up. What a complete numpty, just your typical scammer!

Got a call from a guy with an Asian accent saying he was from some accident helpline, talking about an accident I supposedly had (I don’t even have a car). I told him to stop calling me. Two minutes later, he rings again but then started saying weird inappropriate stuff. I just ended the call straight away.

This number kept calling me over and over. When I finally answered, the guy claimed I could get compensation for a crash that "wasn't my fault". I told him actually it was my fault, then he switched gears and said I had a passenger with me. I said there was no passenger, but he insisted there was a record of one, so they could claim compensation. When I asked what they wanted, he said nothing. Told him I’m registered with the telephone preference service, but he still kept ringing me even after I hung up. Proper annoying.
