We got a call from overseas saying it was about a crash we had last year. Since we actually did have an accident abroad that never got resolved, it seemed legit at first. My husband answered and they said they wanted to confirm the personal injury payouts for everyone involved. He gave them the names, addresses and birthdays when asked, but he couldn't find the other party's car reg number. They said they’d ring back about it. I asked where they got my number from, and she said "it’s public info." Thing is, she was ringing my nan’s number - she lives on her own. I then asked what bloke’s name she was referring to, and she just ended the call. Seeing here that this number tries to fish for personal info has me a bit on edge :-(

I got a call from an unlisted number, one that not even my dentist or bank have, just a handful of close family and my GP hold it for privacy reasons. It was some woman with an accent, sounded Indian, from something to do with road traffic, I think? She claimed I was involved in a car accident within the last year, which is completely untrue. She wasn’t very clear, maybe on purpose. Quite frustrating!

This number has been ringing me every single day for two weeks straight. Even after I told them to stop calling, they just keep going. The voice sounds like the same bloke each time, same accent and they say the same name, though I can never make it out properly. They were trying to talk about some accident compensation from last year. When I said I wasn’t involved in any accident then, they actually argued with me and insisted I was wrong. Proper annoying!

Don’t be misled by any links to Hi-Line Lighting. They once operated from a Liverpool location but have since moved their headquarters to Kingston-on-Thames in Surrey. It’s astonishing how websites can be misleading if they're not kept up to date... From my own encounter, it seems that this number is being exploited for nefarious schemes. The other reviews suggest that there are numerous ‘representatives’ making chilly calls under false pretences. Quite a dubious affair, I'd say!

Received a rather intrusive call from someone claiming to be James Martin concerning a car accident I’ve never been involved in. This chap certainly isn’t the famous chef I’m familiar with, and I doubt he’d recognise a leek and brioche bake if it smacked him in the face!

Got a phone call from someone with a strong foreign accent claiming to be from an insurance firm. They wanted details about a no-fault claim, but I told them straight away they weren't with my insurer and I wasn’t interested in chatting. After checking out other reviews, it’s clear this number belongs to scammers. I'd seriously recommend steering clear of this number - they’re definitely annoying and could be up to no good.

there was this lady with an indian accent who kept saying hello hello, she told me she was calling from high line lighting or something. i told her i wasn’t interested and asked her to take me off their call list. then she started shouting no no, like she wasn’t gonna take me off. so i just ended the call.

Got a call from someone claiming i was in an accident back in 2015. They said some insurance firm wanted to give me money but needed to check my details first. When i asked for more info, they couldn’t give me any. Then the caller started getting rude and said i had to pay attention to what they were saying. I told them no, and they just ended the call. I got a call from 0151324 4000i and when I picked up, some guy with an Indian accent kept saying hello over and over. There was loads of noise in the background like people chatting or something, and then they just suddenly hung up. Seems dodgy to me, probably some kind of scam.
