I received a rather dodgy call from someone claiming to be from a firm named “First Response.” They had the audacity to say they were reaching out to assist me in claiming insurance compensation for a car accident I'd never even had! How absurd! Naturally, I promptly ended the conversation. I’ve been fortunate enough not to have experienced a car crash at any point in my life. What a relief!

I got a recorded message saying it was about a tax fraud probe by HMRC, and if I didn’t press 1, they’d send a warrant to arrest me! I ended the call straight away and when I tried ringing the same number again, it just said ‘system busy’.

Today this number rang me, and I’ve been bombarded with about 6 or 7 calls daily lately - most of them from accident claim companies pushing injury claims after minor no-fault bumps. So I recorded a message on my voicemail saying something like, “Too many scam calls recently, if you’re genuine please leave a message and I’ll call you back.” I also set it to ring just 3 times so I get a chance to spot if it’s a known caller. So far, no one’s bothered to leave a message. Sorted the problem for me!

I just wanna know who’s leaking our info to these lot! They deserve a proper telling off, no doubt. These youngsters on the phone pretending to handle my claim have been dodgy as heck. After ringing up my insurer and my solicitor, I realised they’re nothing but ambulance chasers! Silly me for trusting them, but when they already have your personal details, who wouldn’t? Like I said before, whoever’s passing around our data needs to be held accountable, for sure.

I've had loads of calls from these lot. They seem to know bits about a car crash that happened a few months back - dates, the driver at fault, my name and all that - how do they even get hold of that stuff? They say they’re from some 'accident claims team' but when I pressed them on which company they’re with, the woman just kept saying 'accident claims team' over and over. I keep telling them the car wasn’t even there at the time. They promise to take my name off their files but then they just ring me again and again. It’s so annoying.

A few months back I was in a crash. Since then, I’ve been bombarded daily by calls from this firm and others nationwide. They had full details of the accident and everyone involved. They kept insisting that the other party (who actually admitted fault straightaway when the cops showed up) had already made a claim for injuries - so why hadn’t I? They pressured me to file a bogus injury claim. Things got a bit tense when I said no.

This number's rung me up a couple of times now. Whenever I pick up, it just goes dead. Then, out of nowhere, the ambulance chasers come on the line. I usually stick around for about an hour, giving them all the nitty-gritty of my crash. But as soon as I mention "THE HELICOPTER PILOT PROBABLY SPILLED HIS COFFEE OR SOMETHING, LOST CONTROL AND CRASHED STRAIGHT ONTO MY BONNET," they seem to catch the damn drift pretty quick! That's how I handle these muppets. Enjoy dealing with them! lol, poor blokes!

I've been getting loads of calls from numbers starting with 0151 and 0141 non stop. Every time I block one, they ring me back but the last couple of digits are different. Looks like they're trying one of those car crash scams. What a pathetic bunch of people!

I keep getting loads of annoying calls from this company even tho I’ve signed up with the telephone preference service. They ring me multiple times a week and every time I block one number, they just ring from another one. I reckon I’ve blocked like ten or so numbers linked to them from all over the country by now. They won’t seem to remove me from their contact list and just won’t leave me alone. It’s really frustrating, and if there was a way to complain about their staff and the company itself, I’d definitely do it!

Got a call from some company claiming they handle personal injury cases from recent accidents. They said theres money waiting for me, so I asked who had set it aside. The person got all flustered and started being cheeky. I told them I wasn’t interested and to take me off their call list. This has been happening nonstop for weeks now. I’m seriously thinking about digging up details on the company, where they’re based, and who’s behind it all. Once I figure it out, I might just turn up in my big car and give them a piece of my mind - maybe a bit more than that.
