It’s crazy how these scammers are even digging up Skype numbers from years ago now, all because Skype shut down their VOIP calling methods. I just block and ignore them straight away. The worst part is, UK laws are rubbish when it comes to stopping this, letting shady folks register numbers without proper ID or any real checks. No wonder they keep coming back!

I've been getting loads of annoying calls from all sorts of different numbers, including ones beginning with 0113. It's making me think they might be getting hold of O2 customer details somehow, maybe from someone dodgy working there or even the company themselves. These calls only started after I spoke to O2 recently, so it feels a bit fishy to me.

I nearly got tricked into believing it was O2 trying to give me a discount. They even sent me codes by text and seemed legit. I decided to ring O2 just to double-check, and turns out it was a scam. This bloke claimed to be calling from O2 Telefonica, which confused me since I thought O2 was now Virgin O2? Anyway, I just told him goodbye and ended the call straight away. Just after, I got a text supposedly from O2UK with a one-time code I'd supposedly asked for - I definitely didn't. Then, not long after, I received another message about scam warnings. Seems pretty obvious it was all a scam to me. I've been with O2 for years, but I just have a SIM Only deal with them.
