Spam call from some telemarketer, best not to pick up. They’ll likely ring you again a couple of times until they give up. If you block the number, they might just call from a slightly different but almost identical one. It’s worth reporting them like I do. These folks are dodgy, don’t share any of your info with them.

It was a sales call with loads of questions, but they already knew my name. When I asked where they got my info from, they just dodged the question.

Got a call from some place called "Lifestyle Choices" claiming they just had "three questions" for me. They said if I answered, they'd never call again! I told them these sort of calls are meant to be blocked by the TPS and that I'd report them (which I already did). They hung up straight away! Number’s now blocked.

I picked up the phone for my Mum since she’s unwell and in hospital. When I said I couldn’t talk about her affairs, the bloke got really annoyed and said he’d keep ringing her non stop until she gave him the info he wanted. I’ve told BT about it now and they’re looking into the matter.

This woman rang me up wanting me to answer three questions. When I told her I don’t do phone surveys, she just said “then keep getting the calls.” I ended the call there.

I’ve tried blocking this number before and told them to take my details off their lists. Yet, they rang me again today, and when I told the bloke they shouldn’t have my number, he just kept on chatting. When I mentioned I’d get in touch with the Information Commissioner, he hung up straight away.

Got a pretty strange phone call from an Asian bloke named Harry. I just let it run for a bit for a laugh. He was asking me loads of questions, so I messed about and gave him all wrong info. After a while, he said he only earns about $50 a day, which made me go, "Wait, dollars? This call’s coming from Liverpool though, how’s that possible?" Then he just dropped the line. :)

This is the third call in just two days, a lady with an Asian accent asking for me by name. She wanted to verify I wasn’t interested in any random marketing offers from companies like Prime, PIP, or whatever scammers they claim to be. Told me there was no weekly fee, just a one-time payment and asked for my card details. Told her straight, with a fair bit of swearing, that she sounded like a scammer to me and mentioned government bodies that handle TPS (though truth be told, they don’t seem to do much).

looks like the call is comin from liverpool, and since theyve been ringing thousands all over the uk, i reckon its probably an insurance company. maybe lv - liverpool victoria, they also run a sister firm called frizzels. just my guess tho
