Out of curiosity, I decided to look up his number on the internet, and to my astonishment, it turned out he was nothing more than a con artist! I’m so relieved I didn’t share any of my details with him. What a close call!

Got a call yesterday from some bloke chatting about life insurance. Got a call about life insurance, and when I said we weren’t interested, the bloke got really nasty and pushy. I even asked about whether their call was legal under GDPR, which seemed to rile him off. someone rang saying they were from the firm that manages my life insurance. i told them i dont have life insurance at all. they said they wanted to review it. I kept saying I dont have any. the caller wouldnt say which company they were with, kept dodging my questions. eventually they admitted they were from "easy quotes" - I told them straight up he was lying and asked if the call was being recorded so I could report them, then they just hung up on me.
