As soon as I picked up, they ended the call right away. Seeing it's flagged as a scam, I just blocked the number. Haven't had any bother from them since.

I called back then just ended the call. No idea how they even managed to get my number since its a fresh one on a new phone. I only share it with mates and family, never anyone else. Plus, I usually use my hubby's phone for other calls and he never seems to get these dodgy scam calls!

What a nonsense call about some car crash scam. I told the person to sort themselves out and find a real job instead of trying to con people.

Just got another fake call about a car crash, classic turbanator scam.

I didn’t pick up, but from what I’m reading in the reviews, sounds like they’re talkin about some car crash or somethin. The funny thing is, I’ve not even got my driving licence yet, so there’s no way I could be part of that flying car crash or whatever they’re on about.

Not sure who it was, I was at the doctors but just want to find out who tried calling me.

Just got a call from these awful lot. Proper rude on the phone. When I asked about this supposed accident, they told me to basically shove off. Honestly, someone should sort these creeps out. I was honestly a bit shook up until I saw all the other stories about them.

Total scam, dunno if they're even legit ambulance chasers or just some dodgy muppets out to trick folks into giving their bank info. Best not to pick up.

As soon as he started talking about some car crash, I just kept asking where he lived. He kept rambling on, so I pressed again for his address. When he asked why I needed it, I told him I was gonna send a bill for wasting my time, charging £50 a minute. That seemed to shut him up.

I just had a missed call that went to voicemail. All I could hear was someone in a rather peculiar tone saying, "hello... helloo... hello... helloo..." but they didn't bother to leave any sort of message. Seriously, what's the point of calling if you’re not going to communicate? It's rather baffling!

I picked up the phone but there was no voice on the other end. Total waste of my time, honestly.

Got a call from this Indian bloke calling himself "John", claiming I'd been in a no fault car crash and was due some cash compensation. Fed up with these calls, I thought I'd mess about a bit. Grabbed a photo of a random car from Google and used that reg number (no chance am I giving out my real info). When he asked my name, I said John West. Then, when he wanted my address, I gave him the postcode for Buckingham Palace. He didn’t take it well at all, called me a c##t and told me to f##k off before hanging up. Quite the reaction!

Got a call from some guy who sounded very Indian called "John." I asked him where he got my info from, and he claimed it was from the Road Traffic Accident Department. I told him that doesn't even exist and kept calling him a liar till he got annoyed and told me to f##k off and then ended the call.

Got a call from an Indian call centre claiming I’d been in a recent car crash. I told the bloke straight up he was trying to scam me, and he insisted he wasn’t. I asked if he knew my name since he said they had records of the accident; of course, he had no clue but said the company kept it somewhere in their system, just not in front of him. I then asked if he was stupid or just lying, pointing out he was either knowingly feeding me rubbish or too daft to realise he was part of a scam. He kept saying it wasn’t a scam, so I just started swearing at him until he finally hung up.

These people are total con artists. I played along and told them I'd been in a car crash, which then ended up with them asking for my bank info to send money. Best thing to do is block them and report, or just tell them you're recording the call.
