I too received a rather unpleasant call from these unscrupulous individuals. They were exceptionally disrespectful and even had the audacity to tell me where to go when I inquired about this alleged accident of mine. It’s clear that action needs to be taken against such behaviour. I must admit, I felt quite uneasy until I stumbled upon various accounts regarding these dodgy characters.

Got a call from this Indian bloke calling himself "John", claiming I'd been in a no fault car crash and was due some cash compensation. Fed up with these calls, I thought I'd mess about a bit. Grabbed a photo of a random car from Google and used that reg number (no chance am I giving out my real info). When he asked my name, I said John West. Then, when he wanted my address, I gave him the postcode for Buckingham Palace. He didn’t take it well at all, called me a c##t and told me to f##k off before hanging up. Quite the reaction!

Got a call from some guy who sounded very Indian called "John." I asked him where he got my info from, and he claimed it was from the Road Traffic Accident Department. I told him that doesn't even exist and kept calling him a liar till he got annoyed and told me to f##k off and then ended the call.

Got a call from an Indian call centre claiming I’d been in a recent car crash. I told the bloke straight up he was trying to scam me, and he insisted he wasn’t. I asked if he knew my name since he said they had records of the accident; of course, he had no clue but said the company kept it somewhere in their system, just not in front of him. I then asked if he was stupid or just lying, pointing out he was either knowingly feeding me rubbish or too daft to realise he was part of a scam. He kept saying it wasn’t a scam, so I just started swearing at him until he finally hung up.
