This seems like a rather dodgy life insurance pitch. A fast-talking lady bombarded me with her spiel, sounding as if she were rattling off a commercial. When I inquired about how she obtained my number, she promptly disconnected the call. Quite suspect, if you ask me!

I gave the number a bell. An automated voice came on, blabbering about some consumer service or another. It mentioned it couldn't get through at that moment but promised I'd be given another shot. Got another call from the same number today. This one wasn’t silent though, the guy said he’s with a call blocking company and was going to block any pesky telemarketing calls plus update my call blocking settings or something along those lines. Bit suspicious if you ask me.
